"Ode to the Brave: A 250-Year Salute"

"Ode to the Brave: A 250-Year Salute"

For Veterans, Their Families, and the Nation They Served

From dawn’s first light on freedom’s shore,
To battlefields both near and far,
The heartbeat of a nation's core
Has pulsed with every soldier's star.

Two hundred fifty years have passed—
Yet still the banner proudly flies.
Through storms and peace, through shadows cast,
Its strength has never known disguise.

To every vet, both young and old,
Whose courage paved our nation's way,
Your sacrifice, more pure than gold,
Still shields our liberty today.

To families waiting, hearts held tight,
With prayers beneath a flag of blue—
Your quiet strength, your unseen fight,
Has shaped this land with honor true.

To citizens who hold the flame
Of justice, freedom, hope, and grace—
You bear the legacy and name
Of those who fought in every place.

The Army's birth, so long ago,
Was born of purpose, faith, and will.
That purpose lives in hearts that glow,
And in our dreams, it marches still.

So let us stand—both hand in hand,
Across the valleys, hills, and plains—
And thank the brave who took a stand,
So liberty forever reigns.

With grateful tears and lifted voice,
We celebrate the oath they swore.
Because they dared, we can rejoice—
Free hearts, united evermore.
