"Christians and AI: A Call to Shine the Light in a Digital Age"



Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We are living in a time unlike any before—a digital age filled with powerful tools that can shape hearts, minds, and societies. Among the most powerful is Artificial Intelligence. Like the printing press of the Reformation or the radio waves that carried the Gospel to unreached corners of the earth, AI is a tool—neither holy nor evil in itself, but immensely powerful in the hands of those who wield it.

And here’s the truth: AI will be used. The question is—by whom and for what purpose?

Will we, the people of God, stand back in fear while others use this technology to spread confusion, falsehood, or hatred? Or will we step forward—boldly, faithfully—and use it to magnify the name of Jesus, to bring hope to the hopeless, to disciple, teach, and love in new ways?

Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14, ESV). That includes digital hills. That includes AI platforms. That includes every screen, every voice assistant, every tool we can touch.

It is not enough to reject evil. We must also create good.

Use AI to write devotionals. To share your testimony. To teach the Bible in every language. To answer questions seekers are too afraid to ask. To reach children, youth, the elderly, the isolated. To spread love faster than hatred can.

Yes, the enemy will try to twist technology—but he’s not the Creator. God gave us the imagination, wisdom, and spirit to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

So let us not be silent.
Let us not be fearful.
Let us rise as stewards of this new vineyard.

Use AI for good.
Use AI for God.
Use AI because the Gospel must be preached to all nations—and now, even the code can carry His Word.

Because where sin increases, grace abounds even more.

Let’s flood the digital world with truth, hope, and the unshakable love of Jesus Christ.
